Our team of data scientists tested, tweaked, and poured over millions of data points to get it right. We feed our training algorithms as much data as we possibly can from publicly available sources of data. This data can come from dozens of different sources including a company's website, 3rd-party websites, federal licensing data, and general business information. We compare each company against others in the moving industry and assign every company a specific score. We then use this score to determine how each company ranks against the others and distribute the scores across helpful adjectives to better understand the meaning behind the scoring system.
How Our Rating System Works
The algorithm is complex, but the output is simple. Our calculations provide a score that we use to rank each company in a specific city. We then translate the score into a helpful adjective rating system as follows:
